Our line of RF Absorptive Filter (RAF^TM) products have been designed with the most demanding RF co-site interference applications in mind and cover the full spectrum of filters from band pass, band stop (notch), low pass, and high pass configurations.

A common approach to mitigating CoSite Interference uses notch filters at the transmitter output to remove unwanted signals at the CoSited radio receiver frequency. The use of reflective filters will reflect the unwanted energy back towards the source. This reflected energy has the potential to cause a number of problems for the RF system, including the generation of reverse intermodulation distortion products or physical damage to the transmitter at high power levels.

Other applications include the use of band pass, low pass, or high pass filters to suppress wideband noise. Through the use of absorptive filter technology, these wideband filters will not reflect their rejected energy to ensure that the electromagnetic interference is halted.
