Deputy Program Manager

TeraSys Technologies LLC, specialists in Fixed-Frequency and Tunable Filter Products, is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to assist in the management of our line of fixed and tunable specialty filters and future market expansions in our Honolulu, Hawaii office. Position duties include assisting the Program Manager by managing the cost, schedule, and technical aspects of multiple simultaneous projects. The Deputy Program Manager may serve as the primary point of contact with certain customers and may also be expected to serve as a member of the technical staff depending on project needs. This position has the opportunity for advancement into a Program Manager or Senior Program Manager role.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record serving as a project manager, technical lead, or principal investigator for research and development projects involving RF, microwave, or analog hardware, and wishes to transition into a Program Manager career path.

We are looking for a team-based collaborator that prides him or herself on getting the job done with the highest quality. Candidates that have a history of successful project leadership in the development of high risk, high payoff, technology development will be given priority during evaluations.

Candidates with a demonstrated successful track record in business development with small business defense contractors will be given priority during evaluations.

Other required qualifications include:

• BS in electrical engineering, MS in electrical engineering preferred.
• Must be a US citizen (green card holders are not eligible)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing electrical engineer. Candidates with a background in RF, microwave, or analog hardware development will be given priority during evaluations.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing project manager.
• Candidate must possess excellent technical writing, presentation and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
